Dr. Warren Nogueira
Dr. Warren Nogueira received his DMD degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2019 after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Biology from The College of the Holy Cross. Upon completion of his doctorate he went on to pursue a residency in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the Providence VA Medical Center. Dr. Nogueira is an active member of American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Rhode Island Dental Association.
During his time as a practicing dentist, Dr. Nogueira has kept up-to-date with the most recent dental technological advances, research and procedures. He frequently attends conferences to learn new techniques and participates in hands on training. Dr. Nogueira is a devoted dental provider who looks forward to treating his patients with compassion and providing the highest quality of care.
Dr. Nogueira is excited to be working with his father at Aquidneck Dental to share a new perspective and learn from his most valued mentor. He is grateful to be returning to where he grew up to serve the patients in his hometown. In his free time Dr. Nogueira enjoys hiking, photography, golfing, fishing and spending time with his friends and family.

Dr. Lena Nogueira
Dr. Lena Nogueira received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2020 and her bachelor’s degree in public health from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2016. During her time at Tufts, she conducted published research with the Craniofacial Pain Center and was an active member of the Tufts Dental Aesthetics Society and the Tufts Implantology Club. Committed to providing compassionate care to her patients, she also served as a dental provider for domestic violence survivors through the Dental Outreach to Survivors (DOTS) Program.
Dr. Nogueira was awarded the Matthew Boylan Award at the annual Yankee Dental Conference for distinguishing herself as a dental provider in the community. Lena also received the American Equilibration Society Award for her outstanding performance in the science of occlusion and TMJ function. Additionally, she received the Academy of Dentistry for Persons with Disabilities Student Award, given to a person who demonstrates sincere interest and concern for the dental needs of persons with disabilities.
As an active member of the Rhode Island Dental Society, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the New England Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Nogueira stays informed about new technology, research, and procedures. She is passionate about attending professional development courses and conferences with her father-in-law, Dr. Gus Nogueira, and her husband, Dr. Warren Nogueira, to further her dentistry education and advance the family dental practice.
When she isn’t in the office, Lena loves to read, cheer on the New England Patriots, and spend hours cooking up new recipes in the kitchen with her family. A Massachusetts native and current Rhode Island resident, she also loves exploring nearby hiking spots and beaches with her husband and their golden retriever, Myla.

Dear Valued Patients,
After 41 fulfilling years of practicing dentistry, I am writing to let you know that I will be retiring as of July 1st, 2025. This decision comes with a mix of emotions—gratitude for the many relationships built over the years and excitement for what lies ahead.
Serving as your dentist has been one of the great honors of my life. I am truly thankful for the trust you've placed in me and for the opportunity to care for you and your families over the decades. Your support has made this journey both meaningful and rewarding.
As I step into retirement, I am very pleased to share that my dental practice will remain in the family. My son, Dr. Warren Nogueira, and his wife, Dr. Lena Nogueira, both highly skilled and compassionate dentists, will be taking over the office. They share the same commitment to patient care, integrity, and excellence that you have come to expect.
I have complete confidence that they will continue to provide the highest level of care and uphold the values that have guided this practice since its beginning. You will continue to see familiar faces in the office. Thank you once again for your loyalty, kindness, and trust over the years. It has been a privilege to be a part of your lives, and I leave this practice in very good hands.
